Vandal Kids
VANDALKIDS is a children’s wear brand with a mission to make parents’ lives easier and be kinder on the planet, without compromising on style!
Hi, I’m Kat Vandal, the founder of Vandalkids and mum of a 6-year-old boy living in Hampstead.
The idea behind Vandalkids came from the realisation that I was spending way too much time buying, mending, washing my son’s clothes who is a real little vandal when it comes to his clothes: no care at all ;-)
And when I found more resistant, waterproof gears, they would not be comfortable or breathable enough which would result in a lot of fuss!
So, after a lot of fabric research and discussions with parents and their kids, I designed fun unisex garments carefully crafted to suit the lives of children aged 3 to 10, for them to wear with no fuss and no worry over and over.
What does it mean?
• Clothes so comfy that kids will wear them with no fuss: made with organic cotton fleece, ultra-soft on skin, elasticated waist and cuffs, relaxed fit
• Clothes with protective waterproof layers where clothes suffer the most, so they won’t need to be washed so frequently and won't be damaged as fast
• Clothes that look super cool with elaborate designs and prints and a first collection inspired by 80’s street art
Why?
Because I believe that clothes should be inspiring and enablers rather than a source of restriction or concern.
Because I believe that wearing clothes for longer is a key step towards a more sustainable fashion industry, and it makes parents lives’ easier!
