We at Hampstead Mums love to support local businesses and mumpreneurs; during the run up to Christmas, it can be especially useful for you as you can organise local drop off or pick up of products as we all live in NW3 area. No more massive amazon boxes (well, maybe less), and less rigorous Christmas cut off delivery dates.
Here are my top picks in no particular order;
Ali is a local mother and sells homeware; her UK Map Tea set was featured in the BBC Sherlock Holme's (by no other than local Benedict Cumberbatch), and she also has a Hampstead Heath range which might float your fancy
Offspring on a String
Shauna is a local mum and featured in our Hampstead Business Mums Blog. She designed the gorgeous keepsake necklaces after the birth of her son, and each 18″ fine silver necklace is designed to hold single or multiple boy and girl charms.
Caroline is a Hampstead Mums favourite and has been running music classes in the area for years. She has made a CD with her own songs which was released in December 2015. You can catch a snippet on her webpage; if you like it you can buy the entire CD. She will be back with her classes from 5th January 2016.
Nicole is a Hampstead Mum favourite as she helps to unknot our backs (hey, it's not surprising how much strain a young child or baby can have on you back as you end up carrying them and the baby paraphernalia the whole time). She kindly offers gift vouchers so you can treat a friend or yourself to a massage at a later date. She also provides a mobile experience so you can work it around your child's nap time etc.
Experience gifts are often a nice alternative to physical products, as we often have so much now it just creates clutter in our lives. Other memberships/gift vouchers/donations to consider in the area: beauty gift vouchers (Beauty Boutique in Hampstead), ZSL, Everyman Cinema, Keats Community Library, Burgh House...
And one last cheeky one...
... just in case Santa is reading this, this is what this Hampstead Mum is after. And I've been very good this year. It's supporting a British business, and it will also help with my back issues as it's a backpack and a satchel. It's 2 bags in 1, such a bargain...! It's a no brainer... ;)
